On December 8, 2022, at approximately 6:41pm, officers were dispatched to the 1000 Block of Marland Dr. on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found Mr. Branden Morris suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid until Medics arrived. Despite receiving life-saving medical treatment, Mr. Morris succumbed to his injuries.

-Barry Matthews (05/30/1998) - is described as a Male Black, approximately 5’8, weighing 145lbs. Mr. Matthews is wanted for Two counts of Felonious Assault, and is known to frequent the east side of Columbus. Mr. Matthews is believed to be armed and dangerous.
-Logan Besse (10-20-1998) - is described as a Male White, approximately 5’7, weighing 130lbs. Mr. Besse is wanted for Felony Strangulation, and is known to frequent the west side of Columbus.

On March 25, 2023 at approximately 12:16, Travis Rush, 46, was driven to Riverside Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The person who transported Rush was unable to provide investigators with the location where Rush had been shot or the circumstances that led to the shooting. Initially, Rush was expected to survive his injuries, but his condition began to deteriorate, and he was pronounced deceased on April 7, 2023. When Rush was shot, he was likely in the company of another person. Also, the two of them were driving a silver 2011 Kia Sorrento.
