Crime Stoppers now offers the ability to accept tips via text message. This not only offers a more convenient means to help protect yourself and your community, but is also completely annonymous. Here are some facts about providing tips with Crime Stoppers.
1: Your name is never taken for any reason when providing a tip.
2: Crime Stoppers does not use a caller id, or track your phone number.
3: You will always remain annonymous.
4: We do not record phone calls.
5: We are not the police.
6: We pay rewards for tips on crimes in our community.
7: We provide a sure, safe way to collect information and turn it over to the proper authorities.
Since September 1977, Crime Stoppers has provided a means for the citizens of Central Ohio to provide information to law enforcement while remaining anonymous.
